2026 US Payroll Tax Tables

Our staff is very busy finishing our new accounting software. To save time, we will only create 2026 tax tables for states that receive a user request.

Payroll is completely out of hand for a few states that have income taxes for cities, counties or school districts (a gradually expanding trend). Users in those places may need to set up a custom tax package for every employee, based on their residence, place of work and/or W-4 details.

Meanwhile, US Federal payroll tax withholding formulas changed slightly for 2026 (they have changed every year since 1988, the first year for our payroll software).

The following states have federal withholding, but no state or local payroll tax withholding (you will still need to update state SUTA and US Federal withholding): Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota , Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wyoming.

Printing W-2 and 1099 Forms

Click the links to see detailed website instructions for printing 1099 and W-2 forms. Note that the forms show data for the previous year, so it works best if you wait until January 1.
