BizWrench Bug Tracking

WARNING: This is the future TurtleSoft website, in very undeveloped form! Many links will not work.

Here are known bugs and their current status in the October release.

• Mac Installation- BizWrench is code signed, so it will open without complaints in Mac OS 13 (Ventura) and earlier. We have not yet submitted it to Apple for their certification, so newer OS versions will complain that it may be malware. We plan to fix this in the next release.
• Breakdown Tables- editing breakdowns causes all data to disappear. Our staff is working on this and it should be fixed in the December release.

WARNING: Files created in the October release can not be used with future versions. We will lock the file format in the next release. After that your data will be preserved in all future versions.

To report a bug, follow these steps:

1. Contact us by email.
2. Describe the problem, and the steps we need to take to see it.
3. Let us know your hardware: Mac or Windows, and OS version.
4. In most cases we can fix it before the next release.
5. If you can't figure something out, please also report it. We'll write up instructions for that and send a link.

Pages to help current Goldenseal users switch over are complete. We'll add more there as users report confusion/problems.

Our staff is just starting on a rewrite of the Goldenseal manual, to suit the new interface.

Best guess for the next release: late December 2025.

After that, we hope to update monthly. However, our most important work right now is updating manual pages for the new software.
